Will Dawg’s B-Day Dinner

Over these past few months, I have taken place in several birthday parties (mine included). A few weeks ago was no exception. Our beloved William teacher had reached that special day without telling any of us about it. I realize he wished to downplay the whole ordeal as he didn’t want to be the center of attention in the office – but I wasn’t prepared to let that unique day just slip by. So, we organized a relaxed barbeque dinner with teachers from Suji.

Truthfully, it was a comfortable affair, with good eating and calm conversation. Everyone came out – and I even drank soju with Josh. I’m glad people made the effort. Following dinner, some dispersed while others continued on for a few drinks and discussion in William’s lair. For me, one of the highlights of the night was watching the YouTube video of Christian Bale freak out on the set of Terminator. Especially the dance remix. Besides that, it was a pretty chill night. Yet, I’m glad we did do something for Will. And I hope he appreciated it as well!

The string of birthdays continued this past week – and it will into the next. So the good times continue. This means more pictures and further recaps. I’ve got some pics from a brief skiing trip that I want to throw up here as well.

Before I leave you, I’ll let you know what’s up with me. March is upon us – and that indicates two things. First, I have a new schedule tomorrow – with new classes and new faces. Slightly exciting – but also unpredictable. Second, it means I’ve only got three more months left in Korea. In a way, I’m already mentally preparing for the end. I know it’s gonna fly by.

Peace out!

-Paul
