Skating in Seohyeon!
Time for an update! Hope everyone's well! This is another old bunch of photos, but I guess that's just my style! Awhile back now (I think in January) HJ and I went ice skating right near my house.. A quick geography lesson: I live in Sunae, but the rink was located in Seohyeon. So basically it was a 10 minute walk. Not bad, eh? Anyway, the local government had set up a temporary ice rink for the winter. Now, in theory, this sounds great...but in actuality..it wasn't that great..kk. Maybe part of the problem was the day HJ and I went - it was quite warm and sunny. Regardless, the ice was not really..ice! It was basically slush! Like skating through an enormous slurpee! Nah..I'm exaggerating a little..but not a lot!
So, the skating itself wasn't fantastic, but it was still a cool experience. It is neat to be skating outside, in the middle of a field, surrounded by highrises.. And it was cool cuz it was so close to home. Some of the other photos taken that day are from the walkway connecting Sunae and Seohyeon. They just recently finished putting in a super nice pathway, equipped with sculptures, a water park, and tons of lights at night. It makes a simple walk so rewarding!

Aaahh..love..just soooo cute, right?

If that's not artistic credibility..I don't know what is.
The next three photos were taken with HJ's coworkers. HJ and I met up with two of her coworkers for an Italian dinner in Apgujung..followed by a cafe/wine bar. We had some good talks...and I guess the wine was nice too. I think the idea was to kinda say goodbye to Hyein, who I mentioned in my last post.. For the record, even though I look horribly bored, that wasn't the case!!

These last few are from Valentine's Day!! I came out to see HJ during lunch..good times were had. In this first photo here..I'm showing off the t-shirt she bought me. Very modern, very chic..apparently coming from New York. I'm not sure if you can notice..but I am sporting the facial hair here too. Looking back now..kinda creepy. Especially in the last photo!!

HJ is content..considering my big Valentine's Day gift was a pitiful flower.

Well, that's all folks! I'll leave you with that outstanding picture...

Keep it real out there!
