Hi again y'all!
Good to hear from some of you...much love for sure. So, I thought I would start by dropping those promised photos of my neighbourhood. This is just a few hundred yards from my apartment.

As you can see, this street is quite large, with no cars roaming about, which is nice. And the fact that there are trees and shrubs adds a lot, as this is kinda rare in Seoul. If you look closely you can even see all the tables full of people eating barbeque and drinking soju!
Okay, tonight is photo dump night. Here are some photos of my apartment building. The first one is pretty obviously the front entrance, and the second is the view down from the 8th floor (my floor). My room actually faces in to the centre of the building, which is kinda cool, except that I never know what the weather is!

As I mentioned before, I am quite pleased with my apartment. Although, it would be nicer to be living closer to Daechi...
Okay, moving on here. I'll do a transition into some more photos with a little story. Last week, because it was the first time to meet my students I always tried to do a little bit of an introduction about who I am and where I come from. Nearing the end of the week, I thought I would ask the students to try and guess which country I come from instead of me just telling them. Right away, this boy blurted out "Canada!" I was shocked! I asked him, "How did you know that? Was it because of how I talk? Or maybe how I dress?" He just looked at me and pointed to the hair on his arm! I had to burst out laughing! The only reason he knew I was Canadian was the fact I was hairy! Afterwards, I showed the class the freckles on my arm too and they were pretty impressed...
Anyway, I thought that was a pretty funnny story. That's the great thing about working with kids, you just never know what to expect. It's totally worth it when you have a moment like that. Today, I had a few new students so that kept things interesting. I think I will probably accumulate more and more students as the weeks go by, which is alright. Okay, so, here's some photos of brand new Mokdong JLS.

It certainly is a beautiful school. I was thinking today though, it's almost too nice to have kids running around and screaming! It's just kind of a funny contrast. Anyway, there's still a bunch of classrooms that need to be set up and things to be put in place. But, for the most part it's feeling more and more lively each day.
Well, I think I have overwhelmed you guys with enough stimulation already. Soccer's almost on as well...so it is definitely time to go!
Keep it real!
